Press Wholesalers

Press wholesalers obtain their products (primarily newspapers and magazines) from publishers and national distributors and deliver these to retailers based on criteria pre-determined in advance. In Germany there are currently 73 wholesalers in 92 areas. Each wholesaler has the sole distribution right in his distribution area (with the exception of Hamburg und West Berlin, which are both supplied by two wholesalers).
